Roses with Morning Dew

In the beginning, the roses bloom from pale pink to white in the course of the seasons. These roses are perfect in shape and they face a little down that gives the rose a beautiful angle. I wanted to put the details and beauties of this rose into this painting.

Acropolis Romantica

This rose is wonderfully 'antique' and turns from pink to green as the seasons pass! This type of rose is very popular among wedding bouquets!

Japanese Roses

"Shinoburedo"
12'x16'(in) / 31x 41cm

This special purple rose was made by 'Keisei Rose Garden' in Japan. They named 'Shinoburedo".
It is a very rare rose only found in Japan. I felt the need to 'lock' its beauty in my painting. I believe this rose has a nice antique touch to it.

Roses and Viburnum opulus Roseum

I decided to practice some paintings on a smaller scale. I painted more swiftly and freely than how I usually paint so this was a bit new to me! The flowers in this painting are Roses and Viburnum opulus Roseum.

William Morris - David Austin Roses 1998

This is a little painting I did for my mother when she came to visit my family! She loves roses and nature so I thought this would be the perfect gift.

I've started painting roses.

It's snowing in SeattleI've started painted roses at my new home. It's been snowing so much so  my daughter had no school for 2 days already! My dog was born in Chicago and it snowed a lot over there so my dog loves snow!

Pray for Japan

We are all safe. But it's terrible!! There's still minor earthquake continuing. Thank goodness our apartment was relatively sturdy. When the 1st hit came, I was on the 8th floor of my apartment, and everything fell from the shelves. Everything broke! and an old lamp was broken too. But it's not that bad. Some of the roads have cracks in them and some bricks are all over the place here and there. Its basically a little bit ruined.
It strained me very much because there was no earthquake for eight years in the US. When hearing that I was in an unprecedented large earthquake on the radio, I was very surprised and VERY scared.
For now I am safe but the nuclear plant explosion is effecting my life and others alot. :(

This is my watercolor painting video made by my daughter. I wish for people to take a look and feel an ease and calmness in their heart. :)
